Story
The Hall of Thanes is the sacred burial place of the dwarven kings, deep beneath Ironforge. Intruders have disturbed the tombs, and ghostly whispers now fill the corridors. Dark Iron dwarves appear to have broken in, arriving from the depths in mole machines, and restless ghosts and other undead haunt the halls. Adventurers are sent to clear out the intruders and put the dead back to rest.
Bosses
The following boss list was datamined from the beta client (build 1.60.1.69893) and is listed in the order the client gives.
- Faldrim Anvilmar – a dwarven spirit consumed by an ancient grudge
- Infurnus
- Plunder
- Durgen Dirgehammer – a Dark Iron commander

Notes
- Alliance-leaning content, though Horde players can also enter. Ruins of Lordaeron (levels 15–20) is its Horde-oriented counterpart.
- The client tunes the instance to level 13.
- Forever has no flying mounts, so Horde groups should expect a long trip to the entrance.
- The Forever beta runs 17 September – 21 October 2026, capped at level 30.
