Mount Hyjal
Mount Hyjal
Mount Hyjal is one of the most ancient and sacred places in Kalimdor. Rising above the surrounding wilderness, the mountain has long been closely connected to the history of the Night Elves, the World Tree, and the forces that protect Azeroth.
For generations, Mount Hyjal has stood as a place of immense natural and spiritual importance. Its forests, ancient paths, and towering peaks have been shaped by some of the greatest events in Azeroth's history.
A Sacred Mountain
Mount Hyjal is more than a mountain. To the people of Kalimdor, particularly the Night Elves, it represents the enduring connection between Azeroth's natural world and the powers that have protected it for thousands of years.
Geography
[edit | edit source]Mount Hyjal dominates the surrounding landscape of northern Kalimdor. Its enormous forests and rugged slopes contain ancient groves, secluded paths, and places of great significance to the inhabitants of the region.
The mountain is closely associated with the forests surrounding Nordrassil, the great World Tree that stands at its summit.

Nordrassil has also served as a source of immense power and has been protected by generations of druids and other defenders of Azeroth.
