Zephrass Isle is the starting zone for the Skyborne race in World of Warcraft: Forever, covering levels 1 through 12. Unlike most zones in Forever, it is not located on Kalimdor or the Eastern Kingdoms — it exists within Skywall, the elemental plane of air, as a floating island built with architecture inspired by that plane.
Access to Zephras Isle and the Skyborne race requires the Skyborne Heroic Pack or Warcraft Epic Pack.
Overview
Zephras Isle blends the visual language of Classic-era Azeroth with Skywall-inspired, cloud-borne architecture. The zone is built around the Skyborne's history and the struggle between their two emerging factions — the arcane-leaning High Order and the elemental-leaning Windshapers — before a character's Alliance or Horde choice fully takes hold.
The starting experience is explicitly story-driven rather than a fast, disposable leveling area — quests are built to establish Skyborne identity and lore, not simply to move a character through levels 1–12 as quickly as possible.
Transition to the wider world
After completing the Zephras Isle starting experience around level 12, characters leave the island and continue their journey into the broader 1–60 world of Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor, following whichever faction path (Alliance or Horde) they chose.

Full quest list, NPC roster, trainers, vendors, and the exact post-12 handoff point are not yet published as of the current beta. This page will be expanded as more is confirmed.
